The Quick Briefing – Keeping you as up to date in business as those with native Chinese reading skills.

Each business day, the Arbiton Team summarize and compile, and then translate to English, all key economic, financial and business news relating to Taiwan from Chinese language sources.

Our sources include Chinese language news media in Taiwan, Taiwan government agencies such as DGBAS (national statistics), the CBC (Taiwan’s central bank) and the Taiwan Stock Exchange Market Observation Post System (MOPS) – where listed companies post their news releases.

The Quick Briefing is delivered to your smartphone every morning around 9am so you can stay just as informed as your colleagues and competitors who have native Chinese language proficiency and 24 hours ahead of those who don’t.

You will receive a notification when each day’s issue is available. The last 20 issues of the Quick Briefing are stored on your device and can be searched in an instant via the search function.

By downloading our app, you will automatically receive a one month free trial. After this free trial expires, you will be asked to select either a monthly subscription plan ($22.99 USD) or a discounted annual subscription ($229.00 USD) to continue receiving your daily news digest. During your subscription, you will receive an issue every single business day of the Taiwan calendar. We define a business day as one on which the Taiwan Stock Exchange is open for trading.

To simplify our service delivery, all our subscriptions are automatically set to auto-renew at the end of each billing period. Unless auto-renew is turned off more than 24 hours prior to the start of the new period, your iTunes Account will be charged with your new subscription. You may do this in your Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, and you will not be entitled to a refund for any unused portion of your subscription if voluntarily cancelled.
